Hey L1X Community,
I have some updates regarding our upcoming wallet release. The L1X team is working hard to make this wallet the best it can be, and we couldn't do it without your support! Likewise, we know waiting is hard and promise it will be worth it.
Today, I'm announcing an executive decision to postpone the release of the wallet to make a few updates and changes. As a result, the team needs a little more time before it's ready. Here's why:
- Safety First Priority: Kevin and the Dev team are adding new safety features to the wallet integrity of the Chrome wallet extension. These upgrades will allow users to better lock up and keep their stuff super safe. For example, malicious websites can exploit browser extension APIs to execute code inside the browser to steal sensitive information such as bookmarks, browsing history, saved passwords, and even user cookies. We don't want anyone to experience similar exploits using our wallet. As a result, we're taking extra measures to create an isolated environment around the extension wallet.
- Bigger and Better: We're also restructuring how the wallet will work with L1X Identity. If you have yet to listen to recent AMAs, the L1X ID will permit our crypto wallet to do more things and work seamlessly for more non-crypto people. For example, imagine being able to scale your ability to experience new games, investment opportunities, and more. With a simple button click, you can experience greater security and control built-in to every connection. Trust me, my crypto friends — it's coming very soon, thanks to L1X ID.
- Changing Some Parts: To showcase these cool new features and upgrades, we'll need to change existing mechanics inside the wallet. Think of it like fixing a bike - sometimes, you must replace old parts to make it smoother. One of those changes is starting with Premium Wallet Benefits. Don't worry! You'll still have all the early access and benefits as before. However, it's getting a makeover. Next week, we will introduce its evolution. I promise it's going to be great!
